Laser Distance Meters

Laser distance meters measure the distance between two points by aiming a laser beam at the target. They are faster and more accurate than the traditional tape measure and let one person take lengths, heights and overall dimensions, even in places that are hard to reach. They are used by bricklayers, tilers, installers and technicians for surveys and quantity take-offs.

How to choose a laser distance meter

Consider the maximum range you need and whether you work indoors or outdoors: in bright light, a pointer with viewfinder or camera makes it easier to find the point. Then consider the functions (area, volume, adding measurements) and the accuracy stated by the manufacturer.
