1045 products

Kärcher is a brand of professional cleaning machines and products. In this collection AMES brings together Kärcher equipment and products for cleaning contractors, construction sites, workshops and industrial facilities.

What you will find in the collection

  • Wet and dry vacuum cleaners: corded and cordless, for dust, debris and water.
  • Pressure washers, floor scrubbers and sweepers: for outdoor surfaces and large floors.
  • Detergents and foams: specific products for vehicles, wheel rims and industrial surfaces.
  • Accessories and spare parts: lances, accessory sets and components for the machines.

How to choose

Start from the dirt to be removed and the surface to be treated: a vacuum cleaner for dust and liquids, a pressure washer for stubborn dirt outdoors, a floor machine for large surfaces. Also consider the power supply available (mains or battery) and how often it will be used.

AMES Srl works on a quotation basis: tell us the models, sizes and quantities you need and we will reply with availability, delivery times and terms of supply, with no obligation.

Frequently asked questions: KÄRCHER
Which hose reel should you choose for a garden hose or a pressure washer?

Hose reels are chosen based on the type of hose and the installation location. Wall-mounted reels, such as the HR 3.20 or the HR 7.315 for a 5/8-inch hose, are fixed to the wall and stay in place. Trolleys and boxes can be moved or placed wherever needed. For the garden a portable model is enough; for frequent use with a pressure washer, choose a reel that can handle the hose diameter and length.

1/2-inch or 5/8-inch hose: which should you choose?

Hose diameter affects the water flow available at the outlet. The 5/8-inch hose, such as the 25 and 50 metre PrimoFlex, carries more water and suits irrigation and medium-power pressure washers. The 1/2-inch hose is lighter and easier to handle for domestic use with lower flow. Check the connection of the machine or tap before choosing.

25-metre or 50-metre hose: how do you choose the length?

The length is chosen based on the distance between the tap or machine and the work area. A 25-metre hose covers a medium garden or a small yard; the 50-metre hose is for longer areas or to reach a distant point without intermediate connections. The longer the hose, the greater the pressure loss: if the flow drops, consider a shorter hose.

Automatic or manual hose reel: which should you choose?

The automatic hose reel, such as the HBX Automatic boxes or the CR 5.330, rewinds the hose with an automatic mechanism and reduces fatigue in frequent work. The manual model is simpler to use but requires you to rewind the hose by hand. Choose based on how many times a day you lay out and put away the hose, and where the reel will be installed.

How do you install a wall-mounted hose reel safely?

Fix the hose reel to a solid wall, with plugs suited to the weight of the machine and of the hose full of water. Choose a sheltered spot, near the tap and free of obstacles that could block the hose while it unrolls. Before use, check that the fitting is tight and that the hose has no cuts or tight kinks, because pressure can burst it.

S 4 Twin manual sweeper: what is it for?

The S 4 Twin manual sweeper collects dust and debris from flat floors in warehouses, workshops and work areas. It is pushed by hand, so it suits surfaces that are not too large. Choose the working width based on the area to be cleaned, and check that the brushes are suited to the type of floor so as not to scratch it.

How do you store a PrimoFlex hose after use?

After use, empty the hose of water before storing it, because frost can damage it. Clean sand and mud from the hose and do not leave it in direct sunlight for long, because heat can age the material. Rewind it without tight kinks and check the fittings periodically. Replace the hose if it shows cracks or bulges.
