Frequently asked questions: La Rete
What are custom-made La Rete nets used for?
La Rete nets are used for protection, containment and sport, on construction sites, sports facilities, green areas and animal enclosures. They are made to measure: state the dimensions to be covered, the mesh size, the type of twine and the material. Also specify where the net will be installed, indoors, outdoors or in water, so that the right solution can be chosen.
Which sports nets does La Rete offer?
The catalogue includes knotted-mesh football nets, protection and boundary nets for sports pitches, ski slope nets and swimming pool protection nets. For sports nets, the mesh size and twine thickness matter, and should be chosen according to the facility. For the pitch dimensions, request a quote with precise measurements.
Which nets are used for aviaries and animal enclosures?
Aviary nets are used to build enclosures and cages for birds, while horse nets are designed for holding hay. For an aviary, choose the mesh size according to the animals to be contained. Also state whether the net will be installed indoors or outdoors, so that the suitable material can be chosen.
Which floating and water nets are available?
There are floating nets to contain debris and materials on water, fish farming nets and nets for catamarans, guardrails and boating. For use in water, the type of twine and the material must be stated, because exposure to water affects durability. Always specify that the net will be in water, so that the correct version can be chosen.
Which nets are used to secure goods and loads?
There are nets for storing and packing goods and load-restraint nets, used to hold loads during transport or storage. To match the net to the intended use, state the weight and dimensions of the load. For platforms and heliports the collection includes dedicated nets, to be requested with the measurements of the area.
Which outdoor and indoor nets are in the catalogue?
You will find suspended nets for outdoors and design nets for indoors, as well as nets for hammocks and hanging chairs with their supports. For outdoor use, check on the data sheet that the material is suited to exposure to the weather; for indoor use, finish and colour matter. For a custom-made net, state dimensions and position before requesting the quote.
How do I order a custom-made net from La Rete?
Prepare the measurements of the area, the mesh size you want, the type of twine and the material. State the use, the place of installation and whether the net will be indoors, outdoors or in water. With this information the quotation is more accurate. The same request applies to the nets across the whole collection, from aviaries to fish farming nets.
