Rotary Lasers

Rotary lasers rotate a light beam through 360 degrees and create a horizontal, vertical or sloping reference plane across the whole site. They are used to check the levels of excavations, foundations, screeds and paving, and to mark levels over large surfaces, including outdoors.

Types available

• Self-levelling rotary lasers with red or green beam;
• models with tiltable plane for gradients;
• cordless lasers with receiver, staff and tripod;
• complete kits in a carry case.

How to choose

For outdoor work a receiver is needed, which increases the range even in bright light. Consider whether you need the tiltable plane for gradients, the type of beam, the battery life and whether you need a tripod and levelling staff.

The rotary laser is the typical instrument on road, yard and foundation sites, where a spirit level is not enough and consistent levels are needed over very large surfaces.
