Hydrogen peroxide is an antiseptic solution used to clean and disinfect minor wounds and grazes.

What it is for

Used as part of first aid provision.

How to use it

Pour a little onto a gauze pad and clean the area around the wound, then leave it to dry and cover it. Do not use on deep or serious wounds. Keep the bottle tightly closed, away from light and heat, and check the expiry date.
