What it is
The Bossong BCF 750 FIRE MAN is a polyurethane foam in a can that Bossong presents as having high fire resistance, with fire reaction class B1. In the BCF 750 range the general-purpose and roof tile foams are B3 and the thermal-acoustic insulation foam is B2; the IS B1 AUT, for bonding insulation panels, is also B1. The MAN designation indicates the manual version, to be used without a gun: the Bossong BOSS 750 guns are for the AUT foams.
Polyurethane foam is an expanding sealant and adhesive in a can for filling gaps, fixing frames and bonding insulation panels and plasterboard.
What it is for
Used for insulation work and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.
How to use it
Shake the can thoroughly, clean and lightly moisten the substrate and fit the can to the foam gun or adaptor. When filling, dispense leaving room for expansion; to bond panels, apply a bead to the panel, position it and hold it in place for the stated time. After curing, trim off the excess with a utility knife and clean the gun with foam cleaner.
