Conical washer for wood Bossong

What it is

Bossong conical washers (code Conical washers) are fixing accessories designed to optimise the anchoring of wood screws in applications where stability and protection of the substrate are essential. Ideal for building, joinery and carpentry professionals, they improve load distribution and prevent the screw from sinking into the material.

A washer is a perforated disc placed under the nut or screw head to spread the load, prevent loosening or insulate the fixing.

How to use it

Choose an inner diameter matching the screw or threaded rod and a compatible material (zinc-plated, stainless steel, plastic). Place flat washers and penny washers under the nut to avoid damaging the substrate and to spread the pressure; place the spring washer under the nut, where it is flattened on tightening to resist vibration loosening. Use seismic washers only with the anchor they are certified for.
