Wet tile cutter 1600W DeWalt D24000-QS

What it is

The DeWalt D24000-QS wet tile cutter is a professional machine for precise cutting of tiles, porcelain stoneware and ceramic materials. With a 1600 W motor, a 230 V supply and a no-load speed of 4200 rpm, it drives a 250 mm diameter diamond blade (25.4 mm bore, 1.5 mm thickness) cooled by water to keep dust and overheating under control. The 45 and 90 degree angle marker makes bevel cuts and joints easier, while the CE marking attests to its conformity.

Tile cutting and finishing equipment comprises manual tile cutters, hole saws and core bits, discs and abrasives for cutting, drilling, chamfering and polishing tiles and slabs.

Used for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting, for cutting ceramics and porcelain stoneware and for straight and shaped cuts in tiles and porcelain stoneware.

How to use it

On the tile cutter, align the tile against the fence, score it with a single continuous pass of the wheel and snap it with the breaker. Make holes and shaped cuts with hole saws or core bits on a drill or angle grinder, without hammer action and with cooling where specified. Finish edges and surfaces with progressively finer abrasives, wearing safety glasses and a dust mask.
