A hedge trimmer is a petrol, electric or cordless powered tool with a reciprocating blade bar for trimming hedges and shrubs.
What it is for
Used in grounds maintenance, from regular mowing to the end-of-season clean-up and for trimming and shaping hedges.
How to use it
Before use, check that the blade is undamaged and lubricated and clear the hedge of wires and hidden objects. Cut holding the tool with both hands, first the sides from bottom to top and then the top, without forcing it on branches thicker than the blade's capacity.
