What it is
The DeWalt DCS312NT-XJ compact reciprocating saw from the XR 12V platform is supplied as a bare unit in a TSTAK case, convenient for transport and tidy storage. Weighing just 1.38 kg, it is designed for one-handed cutting and reaches a no-load stroke rate of 0-2800. It offers a cutting capacity of up to 90 mm in timber and PVC and 40 mm in steel sections and pipes, covering different materials with a single tool.

How to use it
Fit the blade suited to the material in the quick-release holder and clamp the workpiece. With the reciprocating saw, rest the shoe against the workpiece before starting and hold the machine with both hands; with the jigsaw, rest the base plate on the workpiece and follow the line without forcing. Before cutting into walls or floors, make sure there are no cables or pipes.
