What it is
The DeWalt DCS369M2-QW universal saw from the XR 18V platform is a compact reciprocating saw supplied as a kit with two 4.0 Ah batteries. Weighing just 1.43 kg, it is designed for one-handed cutting in confined spaces. It offers a maximum cutting capacity of 90 mm in wood and PVC and 40 mm on steel sections and tubes, covering different materials with a single easy-to-handle tool.

What it is for
Used for light demolition, chasing and localised removal, for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site and for cutting metal sections, sheet and tube.
How to use it
Fit the blade suited to the material in the quick-release holder and clamp the workpiece. With the reciprocating saw, rest the shoe against the workpiece before starting and hold the machine with both hands; with the jigsaw, rest the base plate on the workpiece and follow the line without forcing. Before cutting into walls or floors, make sure there are no cables or pipes.
