XPC Blades for Cutting Wood, Set of 14 Blades, DeWalt DT2298-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT2298-QZ set from the XPC range brings together 14 jigsaw blades for cutting wood, supplied in practical boxed packaging. The assortment comprises four DT2205 100 mm blades with a 2.5 mm pitch for clean, fast straight cuts in wood, chipboard and plastic, four DT2209 100 mm blades with a 4.2 mm pitch for fast straight cuts in the same materials, two DT2213 100 mm blades with a 4.2 mm pitch for fast cuts in wood, chipboard, plywood and MDF, and one DT2216 82 mm blade with a 2.0 pitch for fast curved cuts in wood, chipboard and plastic.

A jigsaw blade is a short blade with a mounting shank that fits a jigsaw for straight and curved cuts in wood and panels.

Used for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.

How to use it

Choose the blade according to the cut: coarse teeth for fast cuts, fine or reverse teeth for clean cuts on laminates, narrow blades for curves. Insert it fully into the blade clamp with the tool unplugged and rest the jigsaw's base plate on the workpiece before starting. Feed without forcing, adjusting the pendulum action and speed, and replace the blade when it cuts crooked or burns the wood.
