What it is
The DeWalt DT3740-XJ diamond disc is made with laser-welded diamond segment technology, a solution that gives strength to the bond between the disc body and the segments, particularly suited to cutting building materials. It has a thickness of 2 mm and a 22.2 mm mounting bore, the standard size of professional angle grinders. It is supplied in a single pack.
A laser-welded universal diamond blade has laser-welded segments and cuts a range of building materials such as concrete, brick and stone with a single blade.
What it is for
Used for cutting concrete and reinforced concrete, for cutting building materials, from clay brick to concrete and for straight and shaped cuts in tiles and porcelain stoneware.
How to use it
Fit it on the machine following the direction-of-rotation arrow and the maximum speed marked on the blade. Cut with a steady feed without forcing or bending the blade; when cutting dry, pause and run it free to cool it. Suppress dust with water or extraction and wear safety glasses, ear defenders and a mask.
