What it is

The DeWalt DT3905-QZ planer blade is a steel replacement part designed to keep the cutting performance of manual and electric planers high. Supplied in a blister pack of 2 pieces, it has a blade 82 mm long with a thickness of 1.1 mm and a blade width of 5.5 mm; the product measures 15 cm in length by 6 cm in width and 0.5 cm in height overall, with a weight of just 0.01 kg. The steel construction ensures a cutting profile that stays stable over time.

Knives, blades and cutters are the replacement cutting edges for planers, in high-speed steel or with a carbide cutting edge, fitted in place of worn ones.

How to use it

Replace them with the machine disconnected, always in pairs on the electric planer, so as not to unbalance the drum. Fit them with the cutting edge facing the right way and well tightened. Sharpen them with the appropriate equipment or change them when they tear the grain.
