Magnetic bit holder socket Impact Torsion 50mm, DeWalt

What it is

Magnetic socket DeWalt is a bit holder designed for use with impact drivers, belonging to the Impact Torsion line designed to withstand the stresses of percussion tools. With a length of 12 cm and compact dimensions (7.1 cm wide and 2 cm high) for a weight of just 0.02 kg, it offers a firm hold thanks to the magnetic system that retains the bit and the screw during driving. It is supplied in a single blister pack, ready to use.

The socket is a hollow insert, usually hexagonal, that slips over hex-head nuts and screws to tighten and loosen them with a power tool.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter.

How to use it

Fit it to the tool with the battery removed and choose the right size for the screw head, so that there is no play. Rest it in line and start at low speed, increasing only when it is properly engaged. Replace a socket with rounded corners or a crack.
