What it is
The DeWalt DT99593-QZ blade is designed for Alligator saws and is optimised for cutting rough timber. Made of HSS high-speed steel, it has a blade length of 555 mm with an effective working length of 430 mm, dimensions that make it possible to tackle beams, logs and large sections in a single pass. With a low weight of 0.229 kg and multi-material design, it is designed for use on cordless tools from the XR range.
A reciprocating saw blade is a straight blade with a universal shank that fits a reciprocating saw for cutting wood, nail-embedded wood, metal, plastic and insulation.
What it is for
Used in carpentry work and for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.
How to use it
Choose the blade by material and tooth pattern: coarse teeth for wood and demolition, fine teeth for metals, bi-metal for wood with nails. Insert it into the blade clamp with the saw unplugged until it locks, and rest the shoe on the workpiece before starting the cut. Work without forcing and replace the blade when the teeth are worn.
