Mesh abrasive sheet DeWalt DTM3023-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DTM3023-QZ is a mesh abrasive sheet in quarter-sheet format with a 120 grit, ideal for intermediate work between roughing and finishing. The mesh structure allows dust to be extracted across the whole surface, limiting clogging and keeping cutting performance constant. Each pack comprises 5 pieces.

Orbital and random orbital sander abrasives are paper or cloth discs and sheets, with hook-and-loop or clamp fixing, and the backing pads they fit onto.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.

How to use it

Choose a disc or sheet with the same shape and hole pattern as the pad and centre it so that the extraction holes line up. Start with a coarse grit and move to finer grits up to the finish. Sand with the machine flat, light pressure and continuous movement, and change the abrasive when it is clogged.
