What it is
The DeWalt DWE6423-QS random orbital sander is a corded tool with a 125 mm backing pad, ideal for finishing sanding on flat and curved surfaces. The random orbital motion combines rotation and oscillation for uniform material removal and a mark-free finish. With a weight of just 1.28 kg, a length of 170 mm and a height of 140 mm, it is compact and handy, suited to prolonged use with maximum grip comfort.

What it is for
Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.
How to use it
Apply a disc of the appropriate grit to the hook-and-loop pad, lining up the holes for dust extraction, and connect a dust extractor or collection bag. Rest the sander on the surface before starting it and move it in criss-cross passes, letting the weight of the tool do the work. Work through the grits progressively, from coarsest to finest, wearing a dust mask.
