What it is

Automatic extinguishing system for cabinets that store lithium batteries, supplied with a control panel. It is fitted with a smoke and temperature sensor and a warning beacon. Carvel does not publish a technical data sheet: installation details are requested when asking for a quotation.

A fire extinguisher is a portable or wheeled appliance that puts out an incipient fire with powder, water with additives or carbon dioxide, chosen according to the fire class.

What it is for

Used for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan and for the orderly storage of materials and equipment.

How to use it

Mount it on a wall or stand in a visible, signed and accessible position, near the exits. To use it, pull out the safety pin, hold the hose, stand upwind a few metres away and direct the jet at the base of the flames with a sweeping motion. Have it inspected periodically by a qualified technician and recharged after every use, even partial.
