What it is

These are tools and kits for repairing damaged threads: a larger threaded hole is made and a helical spring insert is screwed into it, restoring the original thread.
What it is for
Used in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts, in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns and for workshop and on-site repairs.
How to use it
Drill out the damaged hole with the drill bit indicated by the kit, cut the new thread with the dedicated tap and screw in the insert with the installation tool to the specified depth. If applicable, remove the tang. Then screw the bolt into the restored thread. To remove an insert, use the extractor.
