What it is

The Fast Lock surface conditioning disc Fervi MSC075/M is a non-woven abrasive with a diameter of Ø 75 mm and medium grit (M, medium), designed for finishing, satin finishing and light deburring of metal surfaces. The larger size promotes uniformity over extended surfaces, while the medium grit offers a good compromise between stock removal and control of the result. The Fast Lock system allows the disc to be replaced quickly. The product is certified Italian-made and complies with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with CE marking.

A grinding disc is an abrasive disc that removes burrs, weld beads, rust and paint from metal and prepares or finishes its surface.

What it is for

Used for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing, for preparing surfaces before treatment and for removing rust and oxides.

How to use it

Fit it on the angle grinder or suitable backing pad, checking that its diameter, bore and maximum speed are compatible with the machine, and with the guard in place. Work with the disc tilted a few degrees to the workpiece, moving it back and forth without forcing. Never use a grinding disc for cutting, and replace it if cracked or worn; wear safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
