What it is
The Fervi 0781 bricklayer's club hammer is a 1000 g percussion tool with an overall length of 260 mm, designed for masonry, chiselling and striking work. The compact dimensions and the weight concentrated in the head make it easy to handle and effective at transferring impact force to the work point, with a gross weight of 1.17 kg.
A club hammer is a heavy double-faced hammer with a short handle, used to strike chisels, points and stakes and for light demolition.
What it is for
Used for light demolition, chasing and localised removal, in masonry work, from laying blocks to filling chases and for chiselling concrete, masonry and plaster.
How to use it
Grip the handle towards its end and strike the chisel or stake squarely with the face, holding the tool with your other hand or a hand guard. Check that the head is not chipped and that the handle is sound and firmly fixed. Wear safety glasses and gloves.
