Precision vice with sine bar Fervi M061

What it is

The Fervi M061 precision vice with sine bar is a high-accuracy clamping tool for finishing machining operations. Thanks to the sine bar, it allows the tilt to be adjusted from 0° to 45° with an accuracy of 0.005 mm, ideal for grinding and inspection where every fraction of a degree counts. It features 88 x 40h mm jaws, an opening of up to 120 mm and a pin spacing of 100 mm, in a body 235 mm long with a net weight of 12.5 kg.

How to use it

Secure the vice to the bench or machine table with suitable bolts. Clamp the workpiece in the centre of the jaws, using soft jaws on delicate surfaces, and never extend the handle with a pipe. Position clamps and cramps so that the pressure bears on the workpiece and not on its edge. Clean and lubricate the screw regularly.
