Tilting machine vice Fervi 0698/100

What it is

The Fervi 0698/100 tilting machine vice is a workholding vice that combines firm clamping with the option of positioning the workpiece at an angle. The 105 x 47 mm jaws offer an opening of up to 105 mm, while the tilt, adjustable to fixed positions of 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75° and 90°, allows the workpiece to be oriented with precision. The 192 x 185 mm base, with a hole spacing of 160 mm, ensures stable fixing on the machine table; the net weight is 8 kg.

How to use it

Secure the vice to the bench or machine table with suitable bolts. Clamp the workpiece in the centre of the jaws, using soft jaws on delicate surfaces, and never extend the handle with a pipe. Position clamps and cramps so that the pressure bears on the workpiece and not on its edge. Clean and lubricate the screw regularly.
