A hydraulic power pack is a portable engine-pump unit that supplies pressurised oil to drive hydraulic tools such as breakers, core drills, saws and pumps.
What it is for
Used in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns and for lifting loads, with accessories rated for the weight involved.
How to use it
Set it on level ground, away from the edge of excavations, and outdoors or in a ventilated area if it has a combustion engine. Check the hydraulic oil and fuel levels, connect the hoses to the tool with clean quick couplers while the unit is stopped, then start it and set the flow rate required by the tool. At the end of the job, disconnect the hoses only after releasing the pressure, and cap the couplers.
