Bench sandblaster, Fervi 0487

What it is

The Fervi 0487 bench sandblaster is a compact cabinet designed for blasting small and medium-sized components directly at the workstation. With overall dimensions of 755 x 495 x 720h mm and internal working dimensions of 685 x 455 x 420h mm, it offers an internal volume of 111 litres and a 420 x 360 mm loading opening, all within a modest net weight of 26.5 kg. The working pressure is between 6.5 and 7.5 bar, with an estimated air consumption of 8 ÷ 10 SCFM (240 ÷ 300 L/min) and gun nozzles of Ø 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 mm to suit different materials. The internal lighting, powered at 230 V 50 Hz with a 6 W 12 V lamp, ensures good visibility of the workpiece.

How to use it

Load dry abrasive suited to the material and connect to a compressor with sufficient air delivery, using dried air. Work with the nozzle angled and at a constant distance; with mobile blasters the operator wears an air-fed blast hood, gloves and overalls. Replace the cabinet window protectors when they become cloudy, and sieve or renew the abrasive.
