What it is

The heat gun, or hot air blower, blows very hot air to strip paint, soften glues and adhesives, shrink sleeving and bend plastic.

What it is for

Used for preparing surfaces before treatment and for workshop and on-site repairs.

How to use it

Choose the right temperature and nozzle and hold the nozzle at a distance from the work, moving it constantly. Never point it at people, flammable materials or glass. Old layers of paint may contain harmful substances: work with ventilation and wear a suitable dust mask. After use, let the tip cool, resting it down with care.
