What it is
Sliding compound mitre saw for wood Fervi 0871. Key specifications: disc Ø 305 x 30 x 3,2 mm Z 40, maximum cutting 0°/90° 340 x 100 mm, maximum cutting 45°/90° 240 x 100 mm.
A mitre saw is a base-mounted saw with a circular blade that lowers onto the workpiece for straight and angled cuts; there are sliding models for wood and cut-off saws for metal.
What it is for
Used in carpentry work, for woodworking in the joinery shop and for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.
How to use it
Secure the machine to the bench or stand and fit the blade suited to the material, with the arrow in the direction of rotation. Clamp the workpiece against the fence, start the saw and lower the blade only at full speed, guiding it without forcing. Wear safety glasses and hearing protection, and wait for the blade to stop before raising it.
