The knot-removing cutter is a cutter that removes knots from wood, leaving a hole into which a plug of the same wood is inserted.

What it is for

Used for woodworking in the joinery shop, for drilling wood and panels and in woodworking, from cutting to finishing.

How to use it

Fit it in the pillar drill or the router, at a suitable speed. Centre it on the knot and drill to a constant depth. Then glue in the plug, trim it flush and sand. Clamp the workpiece and the machine securely and wear goggles.
