What it is
Kimia Kimistone Biocide is a water-based liquid biocide with broad-spectrum quaternary ammonium salts: it does not protect the surface, but eliminates the microflora that colonises it. It forms no film and does not alter the colour: it is light green in the container and colourless once applied. It has a pH of 7.1, a density of 1.00 g/cm³ and very low viscosity, 1-20 mPa·s; it is made in Italy.
A surface protector is a chemical product, such as a wax, impregnator, film-forming coating or sealer, that protects stone, terracotta, concrete, wood or metal from water, stains and wear.
What it is for
Used to protect surfaces during works, so they do not have to be redone afterwards, for cleaning hard surfaces before treatment or at the end of the job and for protective and finishing treatments in construction.
How to use it
Clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely. Test the product on an inconspicuous area, then apply it evenly by brush, roller, cloth or spray without leaving build-ups, removing the excess if the data sheet requires. Observe the drying times before walking on it and renew the treatment as it wears.
