Annealed Wire Ties for Construction

What it is

These are ready-cut ties made of annealed wire, i.e. softened by annealing and therefore easy to bend and twist, in packs of 2000 pieces. They come in lengths of 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 cm. Compared with annealed wire on a coil, they save cutting each tie to length and make rebar-tying work faster.

Wire includes annealed, galvanised and plastic-coated steel wire, with wire strainers and turnbuckles, for rebar tying, fencing and supports.

What it is for

Used for building formwork for concrete pours, for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for pouring concrete, from formwork to vibration.

How to use it

Choose the gauge and finish according to the use: annealed wire for tying reinforcing bars, galvanised or plastic-coated wire for outdoor fencing and supports. Cut with end cutters or pliers, tie by twisting with pliers or a rebar tying tool, and tension with a wire strainer or turnbuckle without exceeding the wire's load rating. Wear gloves to protect against sharp ends.
