What it is
Square files, second cut. Key specifications: shape Square, cutting medium-soft.
The file is a hand tool in hardened steel with a toothed surface, flat, round, half-round, square or triangular, for removing and finishing metal.
What it is for
Used for deburring parts after machining and for manual work in the workshop and on site.
How to use it
Clamp the workpiece in a vice at elbow height and hold the file by a firmly fitted handle. File by pushing forwards with even pressure and easing off on the return stroke, as a file cuts only on the forward stroke. Choose the cut according to the finish, bastard for roughing and smooth for finishing, and clean the teeth with a file card.
