Special screwdriving accessories are bit holders, extensions, right-angle attachments, flexible shafts and collated screw magazines that fit onto screwdrivers and drills for work in awkward spots or high-volume fastening.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter and for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.

How to use it

Insert the accessory into the chuck or hex drive with the battery removed or the tool unplugged, checking that it locks in place. Work at reduced speed and torque, since angle attachments and extensions add play, keeping the accessory in line with the screw. Clean and lubricate right-angle attachment gears and magazine guides periodically.
