A safety shoe is low-cut safety footwear with a protective toecap and, depending on its class, a penetration-resistant, slip-resistant, water-repellent or ESD sole.
What it is for
Used to protect feet on site and on the shop floor against crushing, penetration and slipping.
How to use it
Choose the protection class according to the risks (for example S1P or S3 for construction sites and workshops, ESD where electronic components are handled, slip-resistant sole for kitchens and wet floors). Try on the size with your work socks and lace up firmly so the foot does not slide against the toecap. Clean, dry away from heat sources and replace when the toecap or sole is damaged.
