What it is

The suspension trauma strap is a webbing strap with a loop which attaches to the harness and, after a fall, lets the suspended person rest their feet on it to reduce the risk of suspension trauma.

What it is for

Used for work at height on roofs, scaffolding and structures, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for fall protection, as part of a fall arrest or work restraint system.

How to use it

Fix it to the harness, closed in its pocket or case. When needed, open it and put the feet in the loop, so as to raise the legs and relieve the pressure. After use or a fall, replace it as indicated by the manufacturer.
