What it is
Flame-retardant hi-vis work trousers PW3 (code FR406): Portwest workwear garment for everyday professional use, PW3 line.
Multi-standard protective clothing includes jackets, coveralls, fleeces, softshells and aprons that, depending on the model, protect against one or more hazards: poor visibility, flame, chemicals, cold and rain.
What it is for
Used as everyday workwear, where durability and freedom of movement are needed, wherever workers need to be seen: roads, construction sites, yards and busy warehouses and as personal protective equipment required by the risk assessment.
How to use it
Check the label for the standards the garment meets and make sure they match the actual hazards of the job. Wear the garment fully fastened and complete, without covering it with non-protective layers that cancel its effect, such as an ordinary jacket over hi-vis clothing. Follow the washing instructions and the maximum number of wash cycles, as incorrect laundering reduces flame-retardant or reflective performance; replace damaged garments.
