What it is
Rubble chute. Key specifications: material Polyethylene, colour Yellow.
A rubbish chute is a column of interlocking plastic hoppers that carries debris from upper floors straight into the skip on the ground.
What it is for
Used for setting up the construction site, for demolishing masonry and concrete structures and for managing and collecting production and job-site waste.
How to use it
Fix the frame or bracket to the floor slab, scaffold or window sill and hang the top hopper, then hook the sections one inside the other with the chains down to the skip. Keep the outlet close to the skip, cover it with sheeting or metal sheets and cordon off the area below. Discharge only debris of suitable size, never long items or hazardous materials, and check hooks and chains at the start of every shift.
