The handleless sledgehammer head is the metal part of the sledgehammer on its own, with the eye into which the handle is fitted, sold separately for the user to assemble.

What it is for

Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures and for light demolition, chasing and localised removal.

How to use it

Match it with a handle of the right size, insert it into the eye, seat it by tapping the end and lock it with a wedge. Before use, check that the head has no play and is not chipped. Assembly should be carried out wearing safety glasses and gloves.
