Safety can in steel for flammable liquids type I 1 L with spring closure Carvel

What it is

Small type I safety can, with a single spout for both filling and pouring, to keep one litre of flammable liquid close at hand. The spring-loaded lid closes by itself and keeps the contents in without leaks, the double mesh stops flashback and the automatic vent operates between 0.2 and 0.35 bar. It is made of powder-coated steel and opens with the lever on the handle.

Jerry cans are portable metal or plastic containers, with funnels, spouts and measuring jugs, for carrying, transferring and measuring fuels and technical fluids.

How to use it

Use an approved, clearly labelled can for each liquid, without mixing different products. Use a funnel or spout for transferring, with the engine off and away from flames in the case of fuels. Always close the cap, do not fill to the brim and store in a cool, ventilated place.

Safe use

Use the safety can only for the liquid stated on the label and let the lid close after each pour. Check from time to time that the flame arrester mesh is not damaged or clogged.
