Galvanised board with trapdoor Mafi

What it is

Mafi fixed scaffolding platform board, in hot-dip galvanised sheet to EN ISO 1461, with an openable hatch in the deck. It refers to standard EN 12811 on scaffold platforms and is made in Italy. With the hatch closed it works as a continuous walking surface; when open it creates the opening for passing from one platform to the one above or below.

The galvanised board is the scaffold's walking platform: a metal element that rests on the transoms and on which you walk and work.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for erecting scaffolding.

How to use it

Lay the boards side by side, without gaps, according to the diagram in the manual, securing them so that they cannot lift. Do not exceed the stated loads; boards that are deformed or weakened by rust must be replaced.
