Cordless drill driver brushless M12 (M12 BLDDRC) Milwaukee

What it is

Milwaukee M12 BLDDRC cordless drill driver, with a brushless motor, on the M12 platform. It is 137 mm long and Milwaukee recommends it for tight spaces. It has a maximum torque of 40 Nm, a 10 mm keyless chuck and two speeds, 0-450 and 0-1550 rpm, with declared vibration of 0.9 m/s². The typical kit includes two 4.0 Ah M12 batteries, an M12 charger and a case.

A drill driver is a cordless power tool with a chuck and adjustable clutch that drills wood and metal and drives and removes screws.

What it is for

Used for repetitive screwdriving into wood, metal and plasterboard, where torque and consistency matter and for drilling a range of materials, with the right bit for the substrate.

How to use it

Insert a charged battery, tighten the drill bit or screwdriver bit in the chuck and select the gear: low for driving screws, high for drilling. For screwdriving, set the clutch so that it slips before damaging the screw head; for drilling, switch to the drill setting. Hold the tool firmly in line with the hole and remove the battery when changing accessories.
