What it is

The Unifix professional saw with rubber handle is the ideal solution for precise cuts in plasterboard and similar materials, designed for craftsmen, installers and light construction professionals. The model stands out for its interchangeable 165 mm blade, designed to make clean slots without the need for pre-drilling.

A hacksaw is a hand saw with a thin blade stretched in a frame, for cutting pipes, metal sections, wood or plasterboard depending on the blade fitted.

What it is for

Used for installing plasterboard partitions and suspended ceilings and for cutting building materials, from clay brick to concrete.

How to use it

Choose the blade suited to the material and fit it well tensioned. Clamp the workpiece and start the cut with short, light strokes, then cut with a long, even stroke, pushing forward and easing off on the return. Do not force the blade sideways, as it may break. For metals, wear gloves and safety glasses.
