What it is

The Unifix SDS-MAX LongLife spade chisel is the professional solution for chasing, grooving and controlled demolition in concrete, brick and building materials. Designed for rotary hammers and breakers, it delivers precision and durability even in the most demanding applications.

Demolition chisels and points are tools fitted to a demolition hammer or rotary hammer to break, chase, scrape and compact concrete, masonry, tiles and soil.

What it is for

Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures, for light demolition, chasing and localised removal and for chiselling concrete, masonry and plaster.

How to use it

Choose the tool with the machine's shank type (SDS-Plus, SDS-Max, hex) and the right shape: pointed for breaking, flat for removing material, gouge for chasing, tamping plate for compacting. Grease the shank, insert it, select chiselling only and work with the tool angled, without using it as a lever. Resharpen or replace it when the cutting edge is rounded; wear safety glasses, ear defenders and anti-vibration gloves.
