What it is
Unifix copper blind rivets are joining elements made of copper, a material valued for its good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The pull-type system allows quick, permanent fixing between sheets and components even when only one side of the workpiece is accessible. The product complies with CE marking under EU directives.
A blind rivet is a hollow-bodied permanent fastener installed from one side only; this category also includes small parts such as threaded studs and springs.
What it is for
Used for assembling steel structures and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.
How to use it
Drill the workpiece to the diameter specified for the rivet and choose the head according to the application: large flange for soft materials or oversized holes, standard for sheet metal. Insert the mandrel into the riveter, seat the head against the workpiece and operate the tool until the mandrel snaps. Match the rivet material (aluminium, steel, copper, stainless steel) to that of the parts to prevent corrosion.
