Automatic powder coating kit, Sprint 2 APS, Wagner

What it is

The Sprint 2 APS by Wagner is an automatic powder coating set: it includes the Corona PEA-X1 automatic gun, the WACON Sprint 2 X control unit and the PI-F1 injector, which takes the powder from a fluidised container or directly from the box. The control unit weighs 3.9 kg, measures 270 × 260 × 137 mm and accepts a supply of 90 to 250 V AC, 47-63 Hz. According to Wagner, the PEA-X1 delivers up to 450 g/min of powder.

These are the control and feed parts of a powder coating system: the control unit regulates the charge and air of the guns, while the injector or feed centre draws the powder from the container and sends it to the gun with compressed air.

How to use it

Connect them to the guns, the electrical supply and clean, dry, regulated compressed air. Set the parameters according to the manufacturer's instructions. When changing powder, empty and clean the circuit, so as not to mix colours. Switch off and disconnect the system before any intervention.
