What it is

The Awelco ALU 200 mm solid aluminium wire (code 92946) is the professional solution for MIG welding on light alloys, designed to ensure clean, strong joints on aluminium and its alloys. Ideal for workshops, laboratories and industrial settings that require precision on non-ferrous metals.

Welding wire for continuous wire welding is wound on a spool that the welding machine feeds into the torch: it can be solid, for use with gas, or flux-cored, which also works without gas.

Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and in welding and the work that goes with it.

How to use it

Choose the type and diameter suited to the material and the machine and fit the spool, checking that the drive rollers and contact tip are the correct diameter. Adjust the spool brake to avoid tangles. Store in a dry place, protected from dust.
