Gasless flux-cored welding wire / NO GAS wire 200mm Awelco

What it is

Flux-cored wire Awelco FLUX for gasless wire welding (code 92969), on a 200 mm spool. Inside the wire there is a flux that, as it melts, shields the weld pool from the air, which is why no gas cylinder is needed. The same Awelco wire is also available on a smaller 100 mm spool (code 92950); the supplier recommends it for hobbyists, workshops and building sites.

Welding wire for continuous wire welding is wound on a spool that the welding machine feeds into the torch: it can be solid, for use with gas, or flux-cored, which also works without gas.

Used in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and in welding and the work that goes with it.

How to use it

Choose the type and diameter suited to the material and the machine and fit the spool, checking that the drive rollers and contact tip are the correct diameter. Adjust the spool brake to avoid tangles. Store in a dry place, protected from dust.
