What it is

Self-fusing insulating tape Panfilm. Key specifications: support Ethylene propylene rubber, dielectric strength Up to 46 kV, temperature resistance Up to 130°C.

The insulating tape is a flexible adhesive tape for insulating, wrapping and protecting electrical joints and conductors; the self-amalgamating version sticks to itself.

What it is for

Used for wiring control panels and installations, in the installation and maintenance of residential and industrial electrical systems and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.

How to use it

Work with the system de-energised, on a clean, dry surface. Wind it in a spiral with overlapping turns, stretching the tape slightly, beyond the end of the conductor. Do not use it in place of a terminal or a sleeve where these are required.
