What it is
The premixed structural mortar Basic INIEZIONE Kimia is part of the Basic line by Kimia S.p.A., a leading Italian company since 1979 in the production of premixed structural mortars. Basic INIEZIONE is a natural hydraulic lime-based grout formulated for regenerating and consolidating rubble-core brick or stone masonry.
Mortars and cements are powder or two-component products which, once mixed, are used to repair, render, fill or bond masonry, concrete and other substrates.
What it is for
Used for strengthening masonry and concrete structures, in masonry work, from laying blocks to filling chases and for laying mortar.
How to use it
Prepare a clean, sound substrate; for cement and lime mortars, pre-wet it to saturation without leaving standing water on the surface. Mix with the amount of water or component stated on the data sheet, using a low-speed mixer, until the mix is uniform. Apply by trowel, float or plastering machine within the pot life, and protect the surface from rapid drying during the first few days.
