What it is
The cementitious mortar for concrete Betonfix Monolite R Kimia is part of the Betonfix line by Kimia S.p.A., a leading Italian company since 1979 in the production of materials for cementitious mortars for concrete. Rapid-setting, high-strength thixotropic mortar for concrete cover repair work
Fibre-reinforced thixotropic mortar is a non-slump cementitious mortar that can also be applied on vertical and overhead surfaces to repair deteriorated concrete.
What it is for
Used for strengthening masonry and concrete structures and for workshop and on-site repairs.
How to use it
Break out the damaged concrete back to sound material, then clean the reinforcing bars and remove all rust. Pre-wet the substrate to saturation, mix the mortar with the stated amount of water using a mixer, and apply it by trowel or spray in the thicknesses permitted by the data sheet. Finish with a float and keep the surface moist during initial curing.
